Why we chose Noritsu.

In the 1950's the founder and current president of Noritsu Koki, Kanichi Nishimoto invented an automatic print washer, since then Noritsu has gone from strength to strength in producing some of the finest photo processing equipment available. Noritsu lab equipment is renowned for it's superb engineering and reliability. Colour Image has been using Noritsu machines for many years and we are confident we made the right choice. With Noritsu machinery, Kodak paper and chemicals, and our many years of photofinishing experience we can offer you the very best in photo processing.

The Film Processor.

Noritsu V100

Providing us with consistent high quality rapid film processing, our Noritsu V100 allows us to process 35mm, APS and roll film.

The process conditions are maintained to very fine tolerances, and with regular process monitoring we are confident that our C41 process cannot be bettered.

The Scanning Station

Negatives and Transparencies are scanned at high resolution and digitally processed by the Kodak DLS software. An A3 flatbed scanner allows image capture from flat copy and artwork and the IBM Intellistation will import digital images from most common media types.

The DLS software controls all aspects of image quality and allows a number of enhancements and special services, detail can be found in the Services pages.

The Printer

Noritsu MP1600 Digital Printer

Printing onto conventional photographic paper at 400dpi, this printer produces exceptional quality results from passport size up to 12x18 inches.

Self calibrating, the MP1600 automatically corrects colour and gamma characteristics for different paper types and batches, giving exceptional consistency print after print.
